Households Not Receiving Notification Letter Asked to Call Census Hotline Great Prizes Await Lucky Respondents

  The 2021 Population Census has entered the final stage of data collection. The Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) appeals to the households who have not completed the Census questionnaire to respond to the Census by Saturday (21 Aug), and calls on the households who did not receive the notification letter to contact DSEC.

Households Who Didn't Receive Notification Letter Called Upon to Contact DSEC

  DSEC appeals to the households who have not responded to the Census to complete the questionnaire online or in paper form, or via telephone interview. Households who did not receive or have lost the notification letter may call the Census Hotline at 8809 8809 to activate their access to the online questionnaire or to conduct a telephone interview.

Respond to Census to Win Great Prizes

  To encourage early response to the Census, households who have completed the Census questionnaire will automatically be entered into Early Census Response for Greater Chance of Winning Lucky Draw, in which 200 Jolly Prizes will be drawn every day. These households are also eligible for the Grand Prize of Your Choice Lucky Draw on 31 August, when 15 winning households will be drawn and they may select their preferred prize from a list of grand prizes including latest computers and video game consoles, furniture vouchers, smart watches and audio equipment. Moreover, in appreciation for the support and co-operation from the households, all households that have completed and submitted the Census questionnaire will automatically be entered into Cooperating Households Lucky Draw on 30 September.

  In accordance with the Administrative Regulation no. 6/2021 – “2021 Population Census Regime”, all Census respondents are obliged to provide the required information within the specified period. DSEC appeals to the public to co-operate in the Census and provide accurate information.
